- Over the last week 33 properties closed and 50 properties went under contract (pending).
- There are currently 594 residential listings in Iron County, which is slightly lower than usual but still very much on a par with the average numbers of listings per month over the past year.
- Selling trends in the area are remarkably similar to the past year and, according to the latest statistics we've seen, the number of homes being sold per month has been growing steadily since the beginning of the year and compares very favorably with any time in the past 12 months.
So despite the natural concerns at a time such as this, our market remains in good shape and demand for homes is holding strong with relatively low inventory.
Aware that they can't last forever, buyers are still motivated to lock in the very low mortgage rates we continue to see, hovering around the 3.5% mark.

Indeed a recent Realtor.com survey claimed that up to a quarter of home shoppers would be prepared to buy a property without even stepping in it. With today's technology that is very much possible.
